What is a Japanese Head Spa?

However, this can be tailored to your individual needs, whether you’re addressing specific scalp concerns or simply looking to maintain regular relaxation and wellbeing.

Suitability

Is the treatment suitable during pregnancy?

Yes, treatments can be carefully adapted to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and deeply relaxing during pregnancy.

Please note that lying flat on your back for extended periods may become uncomfortable or unsuitable during later trimesters. In some cases, we may recommend adjusting your treatment or postponing until after your baby arrives to ensure your comfort and safety.

Is it safe for coloured or chemically treated hair?

Absolutely. Our treatments are gentle and nourishing, helping to improve the condition, shine, and overall health of coloured or chemically treated hair.

Can I have a treatment if I have hair extensions?

This depends on the type of extensions you have. Please get in touch before booking so we can advise you and ensure the treatment is suitable and effective.

Who may not be suitable for this treatment?

If you have certain scalp conditions, recent injuries, or any medical concerns, we recommend contacting us before booking. This allows us to ensure the treatment is both safe and tailored appropriately for you.

 

Before Your Visit

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing so you can fully relax throughout your experience. A towel robe will be provided for your treatment.

For your comfort and to allow full access to the neck and shoulder area, we kindly ask that you remove jewellery and either remove your bra or lower the straps. Your comfort and privacy will always be respected.

Do I need to prepare my hair beforehand?
There’s no need for any special preparation—simply arrive as you are and we’ll take care of the rest.

Where are you located and is parking available?

We are based at Adora Wellness Farm in a peaceful countryside setting. Full directions and parking details will be provided after booking to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive on time for your appointment so you can enjoy the full experience without feeling rushed.

During & After Your Treatment

Will my hair be dried after the treatment?

Depending on your chosen treatment, a light dry is included. Please note that our focus is on scalp care and deep relaxation rather than styling.

Is the treatment personalised?

Yes, each experience is thoughtfully tailored to your individual scalp condition, hair type, and overall wellbeing needs, ensuring the most effective and relaxing results.

How will I feel afterwards?

Most clients leave feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, and refreshed. You may also notice immediate improvements in scalp comfort and hair softness, along with a greater sense of calm and mental clarity

Booking & Policies

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked online via our booking system. If you’re unsure which treatment is right for you, feel free to get in touch, we’re always happy to guide you.

Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers are available and make a beautiful gift for someone in need of rest and restoration.

What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Changes made within 24 hours may be charged in full.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to avoid impacting other bookings. The full treatment fee will still apply.
